Our next destination is the Algarve but before venturing there we checked out the Cromeleque dos Almendres at the recommendation of our host. It’s like a version of Stonehenge but different and in Portugal. I took a pic of the information of these stone formations.

Those are some big, mighty stones there.

I found one of the stones that still had some evidence of carvings.

The Almendres were also surrounded by cork trees.
