Our 3rd full day was Los Reyes Magos, so originally we thought it could be a beach day, but the temps dropped to the low 60s and lots of things would be closed, however, we decided to check out the local aquarium, the science museum and a cool theater. Asher showed us how much he’s grown by taking legitimate interest in activities in the science museum and the aquarium. Good times had by all.

The local aquarium where you can see beluga whales, crocodiles, dolphins, lots of sharks, an aviary and more.

There were some animals that we could view in this setting. The aviary is the white round ball straight ahead.

See! Like pelicans. We never realized just how big they are.

Pont l’Assut de l’Or separates the aquarium from the collective Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. This is meant to resemble a harp.

Looking out over the reflective pools of the Ciudad.

Toren and Asher taking in all the architecture as well as the people renting water toys on the far end.

Across the way is L’Umbracles which is a sculpture park we didn’t end up getting to.

This is one side of the Hemisféric which is an IMAX, 3D theater where we watched Oceans: Our Blue Planet.

L’Umbracle in the evening after the movie finished.

The Hemisféric straight on and I totally see a bug.

At night with the lights. There were food stalls so we had a bite to eat as well as some tasty Gluhweim.

This is the Palacio de las Artes. We just admired the building from afar.

Here is the Museo de las Ciencias.

And at night before we hit the Xmas market on our way back to the apartment.
