Windy, but sunny day in Malmö and good for a bike ride since it is also pretty flat. Explored the old town, checked out some Parks and nobody got a flat tire. Whoohooo!

The main plaza, Stortorget Malmö, looking towards their city hall, Malmö Rådhus. Toren asked if all city halls looked like this.

Another part of thebplaza as Toren rides circles around me.

This is Lilla Torg square where it dates to the 1600s and still maintains the old cobble stone.

Old market not as lively because every one was sitting down to eat.

Just nearby is Sanct Petri Kyrka from the 1300s and is a protestant church.

Love the clean, bright look of the interior.

In this room of the church it’s covered in medieval murals.

Checking out the architecture of the exterior around the corner from the main entrance.

One view from the bridges as we biked around.

A different perspective near the newer business/residential area is.

Annnd where the Turning Torso is located. It’s an energy efficient tower that has offices on about the 1st 12 floors and some conference rooms up top and them all apartments in between.

It’s pretty trippy to see up close and this was designed by Santiago Calatrava, a Spanish architect. It’s 190 meters high and turns 90 degrees from base to top. It’s only been around since 2005.
