Next stop in the Algarve was in Lagoa to check out the Carvoeiro boardwalk, the Algar Seco and the beach off the main street of the town.

The boardwalk which just felt faster to walk on than the sidewalk. We walked down this several times to figure out where we could enter the water safely for a 2yo.

The beginning of the exploration of the Algar Seco after the initial wooden stairs, that is. At first I was heading down to see if I could get a pic and then soon realized there was more to it.

There are different types of access to various parts of this rocky coastline.

Looking out towards the ocean.

Maybe a pirate ship?

We were using the shade from the cave and also where there were fewer people.

Another pirate ship?😅 Dave is out there with Toren. I showed him where you can just dive in and swim back to the beach.

Dave assisting Toren to get in as he was unsure about jumping in with his flotation device and all the rock.
