We had one pretty easy-going day in Stockholm as we visited Skansen (oldest open air museum and small zoo opened in 1891), took a walk along Monteliusvägen (Ostermalm) as the sun was going down enjoyed a park or 2 and Asher wanted to cut off all his lovely locks.
Enjoying learning about different parts of Sweden before the industrial erá and seeing some animals as well as some of the scenery since it’s located on a hill in Djurgården.
Yeah! This view was pretty nice to stumble upon after seeing some moose and reindeer.
And this one too!
The Nordiska Museet was on this island as well but didn’t get in this time around and decided to let the boys enjoy Junibacken (the story train was pretty cool).
A view walking through Stockholm towards St. Clara’s church.
Walking towards Stockholm Central Station.
A view towards Gamla Stan from our walk along Monteliusvägen.
A view of the bridge that connects Gamla Stan and Ostermalm.
