The short version
Today the site sets no analytics or advertising cookies at all. When we add analytics, we will ask first, nothing optional will load until you say yes, and you will be able to change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. This page will list those cookies before they are turned on.
Your choice
When analytics are added, a banner will ask whether you accept analytics cookies. The banner and the record of your answer will be handled by Cloudflare Zaraz, the tool we use to load third-party scripts. If you decline, Google Analytics will not load and its cookies will not be set. You will be able to change your answer later with Cookie settings in the footer, or by clearing the site’s cookies in your browser.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to build a profile of you.
Cookies from sites we link to
Some links lead to other companies’ sites, including affiliate partners. Those sites set their own cookies under their own policies once you arrive there. We do not control them, and they are not set while you are on Expat Future.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. If you block all cookies, the site still works; you will simply be asked for your cookie choice again on each visit.

If we add a tool that uses cookies, this page is updated first, and you are asked for consent again where the law requires it.
